WellMedicated - Inspiration Overdose

I have reason to believe that a significant chunk of the WellMedicated readership are jonesing inspiration junkies foaming at the mouth for their next fix.  Ditto.  It is for this reason that I’ve decided to shift the focus of this blog to be entirely inspiration only.  Let’s face it, it’s pretty-much been that way for a while now anyway.

With this decision also comes a pretty kickass redesign to get the party started.  Stay tuned for some awesome new features like interviews, artist showcases and more!

You may have noticed a bit of a famine in the ol’ updates department here at the blog. I know I have, and it’s killing me.

Truth is, this year was my first holiday season as a full time freelancer and it seems I have a thing or two to learn in the area of time management. As a result, this blog has taken the hit and been left to fend for itself. I assure you this is only a temporary set back and we’ll be back in full swing in 2009!

In the mean time I thought I’d share with you a few articles that I’ve put together my favorite design blog; Smashing Magazine.  Enjoy!  And happy (belated) holidays everybody!

Those of you who know me know that if I were to call myself a ‘podcast enthusiast’ it would be something of an understatement.  I have such an addiction to podcasts it’s way beyond anything healthy.  At the time being, I am subscribed to almost 40 of ’em… and it’s not nearly enough.

As a freelance web designer I spend a large chunk of time designing to these shows and they have become an integral part of my working routine.  Here are my 10 absolute favorites.

In a feeble attempt to stir up some buzz for my upcoming free WordPress theme (release date to be determined), I thought I’d give you all a sneak peek at my next WordPress opus: ZinePress.

ZinePress is not exactly a full-on heavy-duty Magazine theme, but she’s not exactly a standard blog design either – hence the name; ZinePress.  Pretty complex stuff, I know.

As a designer, I feel that this is some of my strongest work.  I am so stoked for this release that I just can’t wait any longer to let the cat out of the bag.  But for the time being, this scaled down screen-shot will have to do.

Wellmedicated was a very short-lived project of mine that has been collecting dust for too many months now.  It was a grab-bag-anything-goes blog with no real subject at heart.  In just a few short months wellmedicated has joined the ever growing wasteland of abandoned blogs and forgotten websites – for this I am sorry.  In all of five blog posts I’ve built a tiny handful of loyal readers who are remarkably still subscribed and undoubtedly losing hope.  If you’re reading this, I probably mean you – yeah you.
