A New Design and A New Direction

I have reason to believe that a significant chunk of the WellMedicated readership are jonesing inspiration junkies foaming at the mouth for their next fix.ย Ditto.ย It is for this reason that I’ve decided to shift the focus of this blog to be entirely inspiration only.ย Let’s face it, it’s pretty-much been that way for a while now anyway.
With this decision also comes a pretty kickass redesign to get the party started.ย Stay tuned for some awesome new features like interviews, artist showcases and more!
About the Redesign
Though I loved the old layout, it was not without its problems. This redesign gives a little more breathing room while adding new features like a very purrrdy logo, gravitar support, community links (submit yours), better subscriptions options, paginated navigation… I could go on and on.
This redesign been a long time coming but I am very, very proud of the final result.ย Thanks to everyone who has stayed subscribed during the “hiatus” and be sure to stay tuned for more awesomeness in the very near future!

Beautiful layout. I’ve been looking over it and over it some more since my last comment and can’t find ANY flaws. hehe.
Such… creamy… goodness. Nice color choices too, I’ve always been fond of the brown/pink. That little touch of blue on the mouseover at the top is a nice touch as well.
In fact, if it’s not too much of an inconvenience, I may be shooting an email your way soon. Wouldn’t mind hearing your two cents regarding the redesign of my own site.
Anyways, top-notch man, I’m so happy I found this blog a few months back heh. Keep it up!
@Trevor – You are too kind. I am glad to hear you can’t find any flaws though – I’m still working out a few kinks.
I am definitely a fan of pink and brown. My only problem is I use it too much.

I like your redesign a lot (the old was very nice as well imo). Hope your new direction allows for a more consistent post frequency, by now you’ll probably have noticed the importance of it;)
When i thought the old one couldn’t get better.. the new one does it.
Especially the sitemap underneath is awesome, good job man!
@Youri – Thanks! I still like the old design but once I starting thinking about a redesign I had to follow through. I’m stubborn that way. And yes, a more consistent post frequency is the plan, for sure. ๐

The new design is lovely. I love your uses of texture.
I love the new design. Your old design was great too, but this definitely gives you more flexibility to do different things. The icon in the logo for the W is great too. Nice work.

I could go in detail, but just everything about it is great! As you know, I enjoyed the old design as well, but I think this is an improvement. Congrats, and keep up the awesome work!
